In case of fire cable routes represent a high risk. Our cable coatings prevent spreading of the fire along the cable raceways. In addition they prevent smoke development and thus the release of corrosive and toxic fire gases from the cable insulations.
Apart from the water- and moisture-resistant ablation coating KBS Coating the Minimax product range also includes the coating KBS Foamcoat for dry interiors which builds up an insulation layer. Thus, fires can neither develop from outside nor from inside influences like short circuits.
