HELIOS AMX5000 aspirating smoke detector
The HELIOS AMX5000 aspirating smoke detector is a highly sensitive, active, latest-generation smoke detection system. In addition to a pre-signal and contamination assessment, the detector also offers the possibility of adjusting the sensitivity in accordance with the unit’s use.
The HELIOS AMX5000 identifies even the smallest smouldering fire and can be used almost anywhere.

Multi-functional detectors
If materials with a low thermal up-current in case of a smouldering fire are stored in high rooms, the smoke is transported to the detection area of the smoke detectors very slowly. Just as problematic is the fire detection in difficultly accessible cable ducts or control and computer cabinets. Our multi-functional detectors respond to different burning characteristics due to their combined measuring chamber systems. They actively suck air probes and analyse them in a measuring chamber. Thus, fires are already detected in their initial state.

Bypass detectors
Exhaust air and climatic ducts with higher air speeds can be reliably monitored with bypass detectors. Air probes are permanently taken from the monitored duct via a pipeline and analysed in the measuring chamber. In case of fire - when required - the release of fire protection flaps or the shutdown of air conditioning systems is activated to prevent fire and smoke spreading.
